Savage Corsets was created by Rachel Savage from her home in Kent, specialising in made to measure bespoke Corsets. Each piece is designed and created using the finest of fabrics and based on historical corsetry through the ages with an influence on Fashion today. Each piece is unique combining innovative design, high quality materials and quality workmanship. Savage Corsets are inspired by the silhouette. A woman in a bespoke corset will feel feminine, confident and, above all, comfortable as the body naturally takes on the corsets shape. A Savage Corset is an investment piece that will last the owner for many years, and is worn to be seen.

"My style is a mix of vintage and contemporary. I adore the vintage scene, and regularly go out to special events where I need to look my best. Rachel made me a really beautiful corset which I treasure. I really appreciated her attention to detail. Apart from the fact it fits perfectly it's very comfortable and I would recommend Savage Corsets every time." - Anna, London
"Rachel designed and made me a bespoke made to measure corset for a women in business function. From the beginning of the process, Rachel's expert knowledge of cloth and corset design as well as her relaxed manner and creativity made me feel confident. The end result was fabulous, I caused quite a stir and plenty of envy from the other ladies present!" - Jo, Bristol
A Savage Tale
My fascination with corsets started at an early age. My mother suffered back pain from a curvature of the spine, so, from the age of three I remember helping her into her corset and stockings every morning. Of course that corset was orthopaedic, but I immediately understood how it shaped her posture and eased her discomfort. I graduated in Fashion Design at the Grafton Academy Institute, Dublin majoring in Separates, Bridal and Evening Wear. My collections and tailoring projects always included corsets, taking inspiration from the likes of Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano & Dolce & Gabbana. After learning my craft my itchy feet led me to London to pursue my other grand passion: theatre.
So, with a post graduate in Theatre, two years as a jobbing actor and a yearning for the finer things in life, I took up a position as a contractor. This is what I like to do in my spare time and in-between contracts.
In Ireland Savage means beauty and my mission for Savage Corsets is that they will always live up to their name, so that the wearer of one will be Savage too.
I also design and make bespoke clothing for pretty young girls 0-7 years old.
